This past Sunday we watched a documentary hosted by Ben Stein, that suggests the scientific community is no longer accepting freedom of speech and free flow of knowledge when it comes to Darwinism versus Intelligent Design. The movie was heavy and intense but certainly had a lot of good information and raised several good questions. How did life origniate? Is Darwinism perhaps even dangerous? Should science suppress the freedom to explore alternatives to Darwinism?

Prayer for a Friend

This past Sunday in youth, October 25th, during our prayer concerns time several people mentioned friends or classmates that needed prayer. The prayers weren't for healing due to sickness, or because their family was suffering from illness. The prayers were requested because this person isn't a believer. Sometimes we use words to describe these people as agnostic, atheist, and even "emo." We are Christians and what is our responsibility toward these people who lack faith or have serious spiritual uncertainties?
